FLASHBACK CLASSIC ARCADE PARTY STATION
103 North Main Street, Navarre Ohio
(65 miles south of Cleveland)
Update November 2020: Flashback Bucyrus Closed!!!!! I just purchased a building in Bucyrus which will give me a chance to IMPROVE, YES IMPROVE the Flashback experience. The original Flashback inside the old Sunoco Gas Station was a great start and Flashback Bucyrus was a great improvement, going from 38 games to 72 games was wonderful but this new, and final move, shop will increase the number to somewhere over 100 with 3 pool tables a lot more pinball machines and many more classic arcade games, still $10 an hour for unlimited game play. Not only will there be the Flashback experience but also there will be batting cages and a HUGE inside miniature golf course. The main floor, there are 4 stories to my building, will be the SHOPPES @ THE SWAN with over 8o vendors selling crafts, antiques, flea market and what ever else, legal of course, someone would want to buy inside and outside an old rubber hose manufacturing plant. Look up Swan factory Buryrus on you tube for a look at the building before it was purchased. There will be ample parking with food trucks outside. Please "stay tuned" for any updates as far as opening dates. Our goal is to have the "shoppes" open for business, small at first, by May 2021. Tom
Update Memorial day 2018: Flashback Navarre: Closed !!! Flashback Bucyrus Ohio opened July 6, 2018!!!!! @ 223 N. Sandusky Ave. (across the street from Bakers Pizza) 419-562 JUKE (5853) Same magic that was in Navarre Ohio is again happening and I think the new shop is even more special. Seeing it in person will remind you of the Navarre shop, I guarantee. Please stop in sometime, even if you are a regular Navarre customer, it is worth the drive. We will be posting a youtube link of the new location when finished. Call for hours @ Flashback Bucyrus. Tom

The former Hank's Sunoco, circa 1952
There are over 60 classic arcade games and pinball machines, 2 jukeboxes with 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's music to listen to while playing the classic games.

Soon we will be adding another room for all the old electro-mechanical games you played as a child either at your local lake or amusement park. The old pop pop, shoot-um-up rifle games are here. Race around the track (you can see the steel rod holding the race car) on, which I believe was the original NASCAR TRAINER machine, SPEEDWAY is here. The old look through the periscope, shoot the ships (I never saw a ship flip around and go backwards), SEA RAIDER is here as well as many more.
Again, please stop by and check out "Flashback" for a "Nickel Tour". A surprise to everyone is that this old gas station has central air conditioning, wall to wall carpeting, and more classic arcade games and pinball machines than any other business in northeast Ohio. Oh, by the way "yes I do have a flying saucer and no, I do not give rides.

Welcome to Tom Manely's (pronounced Muh-Knee-Lee) Flashback Classic Coin Ops, founded 2001. Pictured to the right is Hank's Sunoco Gas Station circa 1952.
Hank's Sunoco (purchased in 2006) is now "FLASHBACK CLASSIC ARCADE PARTY STATION".
FUTURE PLANS: Restore the gas station to it's best days which of course to all us "Boomers" would have to be 1964-1968.

FRONT LOBBY: The 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's record albums, on the walls, bring back some memories of "the day" . Checker board tiles and a classic Seeburg jukebox help get you going on your "FLASHBACK". When you rent the whole facility , 20 to 40 people, we allow you to bring your own pizza, have cake and ice cream, or something simple to eat such as snack food. We charge $10 per hour per person, unlimited gameplay. Buy pop out of our "Rockola" pop machine, 50 cents a can, or bring your own water or pop (NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES PLEASE) then set in our lobby remembering your favorite record album covers on the walls. We had a singles party for 50s & 60s a while back and afterward they complained about "sore necks"? (Hint: 12' ceiling)

FLYING SAUCER PINBALL ROOM :(wait till you see what we are planning for the saucer to do) The first bay that was a lift bay is now our "flying saucer pinball room." The pinball machines include Hercules, Capt Fantastic, Space Invaders, Gold ball, Carousel, (a 1947 Keeney woodrail) Volcano, Big Game, Trident, Mata Hari, Super Sonic, Eight Ball Champ, Super Soccer, Dragon, a 1962 "Flipper Clown", etc. a total of 14 machines to play. Our "Hercules" pinball is the world's largest which is 4' wide, 8' long, 7 and 1/2 feet tall and uses a cue ball as the pinball.
The "flying saucer" which came from a comic book shop in Kent Ohio called "Watch the Skies" is looming over all the machines. Can you guess what we nicknamed our Skull? Yes, we have plans for him also!

DISCO ARCADE ROOM: The next two bays are now one big room which has a pool table in the middle. The perimeter of the room has classic arcade games such as Pac Man, Centipede, Donkey Kong Jr. Asteroids, Space Invaders, Frogger, a Puck Bowler, Ice Cold Beer, Zaxxon, Gorf, Baby pacman, Galaga, Centipede, GI Joe, Roadblaster, Arkanoid, Defender, Pole position, Aero Fighters etc. The room wouldn't be complete with out a "Skeeball" which we have. The jukebox (of course it has 45 rpm records in it) gives you a chance to listen to your favorite oldies. Yes, we do have disco balls (4) and "the hustle" is indeed on the jukebox. Question: How many grooves are on a 45? Sometimes we purposely put a record in the jukbebox that skips. Why?
